This is a meeting for HCI researchers working in mixed reality (including AR/VR/MR/XR, as well as fields deeply involved with these technologies). The goal for this meetup is to make connections between researchers and practitioners of XR, especially making bridges to work done in human-computer interaction, haptics and graphics. We chose to create an informal meetup rather than an official workshop to allow attendees to join us in a relaxed environment—you decide if you want to join this meetup to find a collaborator for a grant, a friend to geek out about the a new XR technique, or just to get to know more people in XR! This informal format has also allowed out meetup to happen at diverse conferences without the need to overwhelm their workshop track.
